The small dot like low signal in menisco-cartilage area on gradient echo MR may be secondary to chondrocalcinosis.

Partial ACL tear


 

Although ACL appears structurally intact, it is markedly replaced by increased T2 signal. There is also anterior translation of the posterolateral tibia with respect to posterolateral femur.

ACL tear




Isolated ACL tear with contusions in lateral femoral and tibial condyles and medial femoral condyle.

Osteochondritis dessicans





Osteochondral injury of the medial femoral condyle posterolaterally (most common site) in a teen (most common age). Looks unstable.

Chondrocalcinosis of the knee



CPPD, or chondrocalcinosis of the knee. Slighlty unusual as the calcification is extruded in the lateral compartment.
